If the world is a giant crevice
Which contains the depths of the sea,
And the Church the riverbed
From which the sea feeds.
The water which is supplied
The riverbed can’t call its own.
For the water is supplied by the Great I AM
Who sits upon the throne.
Jesus is the lake from which
The river gets its start.
The water He supplies is the magnificent love
His Father wishes to impart.
Thus, the love flows out from Jesus
Through the Church and to the sea.
So the world might know the greatness
Of our Father’s majesty!
