Bleak, black, and broken was my heart,
But you brought in light providing restoration for my soul.
Calloused, crooked, and corrupt were my ways,
But you massaged and straightened my being allowing me to stand before you whole.
And what did I do to deserve this treatment?
Nothing! Nothing! Again I say nothing,
For I was broken beyond repair.
Yet, because of your love you chose me as an object of your redemptive care.
So I say thank you, thank you and I magnify your name,
For your have shown grace and mercy to one that was wretched only deserving shame.
